Liverpool came incredibly close to securing Fabio Carvalho’s services in the January transfer window.
Now, West Ham United are reportedly keeping tabs on the Anfield target ahead of a possible summer swoop.
The plan was for Liverpool to sign Carvalho and loan him back to Fulham for the rest of the season.
ESPN claimed the two clubs agreed a package totalling £8 million including add-ons late on Monday.

Indeed, the player reportedly completed a medical ahead of the prospective move.
But as per Sky Sports, both Carvalho’s move to Anfield and his temporary switch back to Fulham needed to be completed before the deadline.
That was ultimately not possible, so the 19-year-old will see out the remaining six months of his contract at Craven Cottage.
And while Liverpool are reportedly still hoping to complete a summer move for Carvalho, David Moyes’ Hammers are now apparently in pursuit.
TalkSPORT’s Alex Crook claims West Ham are also eyeing Antonee Robinson and Tosin Adarabioyo as well as Carvalho.
He told GiveMeSport: “They’re definitely keeping tabs on a few Football League players for the summer.
“They’re looking at a few Fulham players – Fabio Carvalho, Antonee Robinson and Tosin Adarabioyo. All of those, I think, are a possibility.”

Carvalho reportedly remains keen on a move to Liverpool.
On Tuesday, Fabrizio Romano claimed that the 19-year-old and his agent are keen on the Reds completing a deal in June.
This would help avoid a tribunal setting the fee, which would be the case if Carvalho joined another English club.
However, West Ham could also be a great call for the player – they’re in the race for the Champions League and still in the Europa League.
So if the reports are true and West Ham swoop in, Liverpool could have a tough battle on their hands trying to sign the “fantastic” playmaker.
