Tottenham Hotspur have now received an enquiry from Valencia for Dele Alli, with Los Che already closing in on a loan deal for Bryan Gil, according to the Daily Mail’s live transfer blog (31/1; 10:20).
Dele is certainly one player to watch in the final hours of the January transfer window. However, it would appear that he has not attracted a lot of interest up until now.
Sky reported early on Monday that Tottenham had received no formal bids for the 25-year-old. But perhaps there is a chance that that may soon change.
The Daily Mail reports on their live transfer blog (31/1; 10:20) that Gil has agreed to join Valencia on loan. But the La Liga side also asked about Tanguy Ndombele and Dele.
It is not clear whether there is still a chance for the England international to move to Spain. But it would appear that Tottenham have not had to officiate a bidding war up until now.
Dele Alli would surely welcome chance to leave Tottenham for Valencia
Dele may not be ready to give up on being a success at Tottenham. He has shown glimpses of quality under Antonio Conte.
Harry Redknapp suggested that there is a ‘great player‘ in Dele. And he should relish the opportunity to get away from the Premier League and attempt to get his career back on track.
So it will be interesting to see whether Valencia have any luck in their pursuit.
