Stoke City manager Michael O’Neill said will bring a different dimension to Stoke City and he’s pleased to secure his signature.
Maja signed for the Potters on loan from Girondins Bordeaux on the January transfer deadline day.
Speaking on what the Nigerian international will bring to his squad, O’Neil, said the 23-year-old has a different style compared to the forwards at the club and he’s pleased they managed to beat off other competitors to sign him.
“Josh will bring a different dimension to our attacking options and I’m really pleased that we’ve held off competition from a number of other clubs to secure him.” He said.
Josh Maja played for Fulham in Premier League last season but was unable to help them avoid relegation to the Championship.
Maja could make his debut for Stoke City in a 4th round FA Cup tie against Wigan Athletic on Saturday.
Stoke City are currently 12th on the Championship — after picking 39 points from 28 matches.
