Tottenham Hotspur are closing in on the signing of Dejan Kulusevski, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Spurs have struggled in the January transfer window, missing out on several reported key targets.
Tottenham were seemingly closing in on Adama Traore, only for him to pick Barcelona.
Spurs also bid for Luis Diaz, but Liverpool then swooped in and now he looks Anfield-bound.
However, Tottenham now seem to be making good progress regarding the signing of Kulusevski.

“Working on it right now while we’re speaking”
Romano, speaking on Chris Cowlin’s YouTube channel on Saturday afternoon, provided an update on the state of play.
“I think we are getting finally closer,” he said. “We have to wait a few hours to understand the Kulusevski situation but they are on it.
“They are working on it right now while we’re speaking so I’m sure that it’s a matter of hours and something will happen.”
Cowlin then asked Romano if he’s confident about Tottenham getting the Kulusevski deal over the line.
“For Kulusevski, at the moment, the negotiations are progressing,” replied Romano.
“They are close to reaching agreement about the fee of the potential transfer.
“It should be 30-35m (£25m-£29m) euros, so Juve and Tottenham are now discussing the formula of the deal.
“So it’s doing it with a loan with obligation to buy, which kind of conditions… to make the obligation to buy close to 100 percent guaranteed.
“They need to find an agreement on that point.
“For example, to understand if this clause will be about the Champions League qualifying for Tottenham or just about the appareances of Kulusevski at Tottenham. So they are discussing these details.
“The player is keen on the move, he would like to join Tottenham.
“He knows that Fabio Paratici, of course, is the director who wanted him at Juventus.
“So there are good chances, they’re progressing in talks.”
Kulusevski, 21, has made 20 Serie A appearances for Juventus this season.
However, he has only started in half of those, completing the full 90 minutes just three times.
Cristiano Ronaldo lauded “excellent player” with “great potential”
Cristiano Ronaldo has spoken highly of Kulusevski.
Speaking after Portugal’s 2-0 win over Sweden in September 2020, Ronaldo heaped praise on the youngster.
“He is a great talent,” Cristiano said, as per Juvefc.com. “He will help us to win and achieve incredible things.
“I really like to see him, he has a great potential, and he’s an excellent player.
“I hope to play with him and score a lot of goals together.”
