Liverpool might have made a move to sign one attacking player last month in Luis Diaz, but the Reds could yet look to add yet another to the ranks in the form of German forward, Serge Gnabry.
The former Arsenal man has been outstanding for Bayern Munich in recent seasons. For Germany, too, he has an impressive record, scoring 20 goals in just 31 appearances for the national team. However, while he has been a success in Germany with Bayern, his future with the club is uncertain.
And according to Sky Germany, a breakdown in talks over a new deal has led to interest in Gnabry, namely, from Manchester United and Liverpool. Gnabry’s current deal expires in 2023, and Sky have reported how nothing has advanced yet over fresh terms. Indeed, both Real Madrid and Barcelona are watching on intently too.
However, it is claimed that Gnabry is not forcing any sort of move. Further, it’s reported that both United and Liverpool do expect him to stay in Germany. But the English pair are ready to pounce if the situation isn’t resolved.

TBR’s View: Gnabry A Brilliant Signing For Anyone
Few English fans would have ever predicted Serge Gnabry doing so well. After all, he was farmed out to West Brom on loan before moving back to Germany to ignite his career.
However, he is now a top talent. Indeed, Rio Ferdinand has labelled him ‘world-class’ in the past, and the description is accurate for a player with such a good record.
Gnabry would slot in nicely with both Liverpool and United. Of course, Liverpool have plenty of options in wide areas already but should the unthinkable happen, and Mo Salah leave, then Gnabry is a sound enough replacement.
Certainly, it’s easy to see why the big clubs are keeping tabs on the German.
