Jermaine Jenas has taken to Twitter to laud three Tottenham Hotspur players following their important win over West Ham, with Rodrigo Bentancur getting a special mention alongside Harry Kane and Son Heung-min.
Spurs have moved themselves up to fifth in the Premier League table. And they go into the international break having secured back-to-back wins for the first time since the turn of the year.
Son scored twice and Kurt Zouma put the ball through his own net as Antonio Conte’s men saw off a spirited West Ham side. Certainly, there was a collective sigh of relief when Son made it 3-1 late on.
Son was named man of the match. Meanwhile, Harry Kane provided all three assists, including one absolutely outrageous pass for Spurs’ second.
My Europa League Predictions.
Understandably, Jenas lauded both men on Twitter after the game. But he was clearly most impressed by the display from Bentancur who continues to go from strength to strength at Tottenham.
Here is how Jenas reacted to the game…
Big result that for @SpursOfficial some big performances.. son and Kane as usual but loving what I’m seeing from bentancur in midfield absolute player 👏🏽

Bentancur deal looking like a masterstroke from Tottenham
Tottenham definitely needed more quality in the middle of the park in January. Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg had struggled to replicate his best form. And Harry Winks continues to divide opinion.
Bentancur was an intriguing signing for Tottenham. He arrived having previously been a key man at Juventus. But he had not had the best campaign this time around.
At Spurs however, the Uruguayan has been a revelation. There was one incredible moment when he cooly turned away from trouble on the edge of his own box to get away from two West Ham players.
He is currently looking like the real deal. And with Kane and Son in irresistible form in front of him, Tottenham are looking set to give Arsenal a real run for their money.
