Diaz, who was reportedly in talks with Tottenham, is now all-but set on a switch to Anfield.
Yesterday evening, Romano claimed Liverpool had put together a total package worth up to £54million for Diaz.

And according to Neil Jones of Goal.com, Liverpool were looking to fly representatives out to Argentina.

In the early hours of Saturday morning, Romano provided an exciting update on the Diaz to Liverpool deal.
He claimed Diaz had agreed personal terms over a move to Anfield and would be joining on a five-year contract.
Liverpool and Porto are currently preparing paperworks and discussing on final details, added Romano.
Diaz has made a name for himself as one of the hottest talents in Europe over the past 12 months.
The 25-year-old has an impressive 16 goals and six assists from 28 club appearances in all competitions this term.
Last season, he produced 11 goals and six assists in all competitions for the Portuguese giants.
Diaz then excelled for Colombia at last summer’s Copa America.
He ended the competition with four goals, the joint-top scorer alongside Argentina’s Lionel Messi.
