Tottenham Hotspur will no longer be signing Sofyan Amrabat, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Spurs were reportedly on the verge of bringing the Fiorentina midfielder to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Romano claimed last week that Amrabat was “waiting for Tottenham” and “wants to join” Spurs.
However, the transfer guru also noted how the Morocco international was apparently “not a priority” for Tottenham.

Fabio Paratici was reportedly looking to get the Dejan Kulusevski deal over the line first, and then offload some players.
The Guardian claimed Tottenham were looking for a loan deal with option to buy for £13.4million.
Now, Romano has reported that Amrabat will no longer be allowed to leave Fiorentina this month.
The 25-year-old needs to stay as Erick Pulgar has left the club to join Galatasaray, he wrote.
Therefore, Amrabat to Spurs has now “collapsed”, added Romano:
Spurs have apparently managed to get a midfielder deal over the line on transfer deadline day.
Romano himself tweeted earlier today that Rodrigo Bentancur had penned a contract with Tottenham.
In addition, the Kulusevski deal appears all-but over the line as well.
But with Tanguy Ndombele reportedly having joined Lyon and Dele Alli still linked with an exit, the Amrabat news will be disappointing.
With the 11pm deadline ticking, there’s bound to be a lot more twists and turns involving Spurs.
