FC Copenhagen manager Jess Thorup is happy with contribution of new signing Akinkunmi Amoo and his compatriot Paul Makairu against Halmstad on Saturday.
The Nigerian youngsters played their part in Saturday’s 2-1 preseason win over Halmstad in Portugal.
While Makairu started the game, Amoo who recently signed for the team in a Scandinavian record deal from Hammarby came on from the bench for his debut.
Amoo quickly showed the glimpse of what he can do as he was involved in the winning goal scored by Mamoudou Karamoko.
“Amoo got the last half hour and is after all a little spire vip, which it will definitely be exciting to follow and see if he can also turn it into an output.” The Coach said after the game.

Jess Thorup also heaped praises on Makairu for sterling performance.
