Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte has had quite a decent week.
Firstly, Spurs got two signings over the line in Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur.
Then, Tottenham duo Son Heung-min and Cristian Romero were been spotted in training.
Spurs then managed to secure a work permit for Kulusevski, who’s also been seen on the Hotspur Way pitches.
And now, according to football.london, Bentancur has secured his work permit and has linked up with his teammates.
The Uruguay midfielder had been on international duty when the transfer was completed
Bentancur scored in Tuesday’s 4-1 World Cup qualifying win over Venezuela.
Football.london claims the midfielder arrived in the UK this morning.
Bentancur reportedly trained with the rest of the Spurs squad this afternoon.
There were no complications in obtaining his work permit, added the report.
Spurs are in FA Cup fourth-round action against Brighton this weekend,
And with two key players back and the two new recruits also set to be available, it’s good news all round for Conte.
“They’ll help me grow”
Following his signing, Bentancur told the official Tottenham website: “It’s a great club with great players – always competing in all competitions.
“I was very happy when I heard about the interest in me and thankfully I’ve joined now.
“It’s a huge pleasure and an honour to be able to represent this shirt.
“As I said, it’s a brilliant club and a great league that I’ve always liked.
“And now I’m going to have the chance to enjoy it alongside the other great players that we have.
“I think they’ll help me to grow a lot on a footballing level, and obviously we’ll always try to give everything we can to represent the club together.”
