Tottenham Hotspur allowed Bryan Gil to join La Liga side Valencia on loan until the end of this season.
The youngster, signed by Nuno Espirito Santo for £21.6 million plus Erik Lamela, is viewed by many as a player with massive potential. People at Spurs are convinced that he’ll become a star one day, but he’s just not ready to play every week in the Premier League just yet.
Gil, since his big move last summer, has been handed just 86 minutes of action in the Premier League. He has played a grand total of 756 minutes in all competitions, which is simply not enough.
A loan move made perfect sense and Valencia won the race for his signature until the end of this season.

Bryan Gil sends three-word message to Tottenham after loan exit
Tottenham were really busy on transfer deadline day.
Spurs brought in Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejab Kulusevski from Juventus, while Gil, Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele all left on loan until the end of this campaign.
Tottenham’s official Instagram handle wished the young Spaniard the best on his loan spell back in his home country. The winger responded to the post saying “See you soon,” ending all the speculation about a permanent move away.
Here’s a look at the post below.

Gil is a fantastic talent, nobody can really deny that.
The 20-year-old is rapid, can play in multiple positions and is a very good dribbler as well. His finishing definitely needs work, while he may not be fully ready for the physicality of the Premier League either.
However, that’s normal for someone so young, and a loan spell away where he’ll play regularly will surely help him come back a better player for Tottenham before the start of next season.
It will be interesting to see how Gil will fare in Valencia, who are currently 10th in the table and have won just once in their last five league games.
