Arsenal want £25 million for William Saliba, with the likes of Real Madrid and Inter Milan amongst those interested in signing the centre-back this summer, according to a report from Calciomercato.It.
It is remarkable to many Gunners supporters that Saliba is still awaiting the chance to make his Arsenal debut. Ahead of this season, he joined Marseille on loan.
He has been hugely impressive in Ligue 1. The 20-year-old has won 31 tackles in the top-flight, according to FB Ref. Meanwhile, his passing statistics are absolutely outrageous, in truth.
He has completed 1646 passes this season. Not only is he top in the entire division, but he sits 275 ahead of anyone else.

Unsurprisingly, his performances are not going unnoticed. But, unfortunately for those Arsenal fans hoping to see Saliba get his chance at the Emirates, the queue of his admirers looks to be forming elsewhere.
Calciomercato.It reports that Inter, AC Milan and Real Madrid all want Saliba. Meanwhile, Arsenal are open to selling the youngster for a fee of £25 million.
Real have apparently asked Arsenal for information on Saliba. And Marseille would also like to keep the former Saint-Etienne starlet next season.

Arsenal are not in the strongest position when it comes to Saliba. He will return this summer with two years remaining on his contract at the Emirates. That can be a precarious position.
However, they spent £27 million to bring him to the club, according to the Guardian.
Selling him would be one thing. But letting him leave for £2 million less than what they paid would be baffling from Arsenal.

Of course, Arsenal have other centre-backs. And he is yet to prove himself in the Premier League. But Arteta and Edu would surely be asking for trouble should they let Saliba go for £25 million this summer.
